Cosmetics Learning Objectives:

  • Explain the basic principles of cosmetic compounding.
  • Identify various cosmetic ingredients (actives and excipients) and their functions.
  • Describe the importance of pH and viscosity in cosmetic formulations and explain methods for adjusting them.
  • Formulate and create a variety of cosmetic products with different functionalities, including: Hair care products (shampoos, conditioners, styling aids, serums)
